We reverse the closing process, restart and inspect the equipment, shock and balance the water, and stay on it until it’s genuinely swim-ready — not just “running.” If the water comes off winter green, our algae treatment gets folded right into the opening.

When to Schedule

In our area, most families open between mid-March and mid-April and close between late October and Thanksgiving. The calendar matters less than the trend: open before the water warms enough to feed algae, close after the leaf drop has mostly finished.
